Our family has been making Shaws Maple Syrup at our Oro-Medonte sugar bush since 1904. Every year, we build on the experience and knowledge of past generations to produce as much maple syrup as we can for our surrounding community. Visit us at our sugar shack during maple season and see how maple syrup is made, take a walk in our maple sugar bush, or enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride. Afterwards, relax by the fire in our pancake house and enjoy the fresh and unparalleled taste of maple.
In the summer and fall, Shaws Catering provides fully catered bbq buffets to customers across Simcoe County. We love that we are able to prepare our meals fresh and hot on-site without imposing on our customers. It allows for an intimate and personal social or corporate event that is relaxing for all involved. If you’d rather bbq yourself, our Do-It-Yourself Pig Roasts come with everything you need for a successful event. Over 500 happy customers a season have made us the largest Do-It-Yourself Pig Roast operation in Canada.

As a multi-generational family business, every member of our team feels like family to us. Of course, many ARE family but some of our team start at a young age in our Pancake House and stay with us for a LONG time. Having them with us year after year is extremely rewarding.
