We were honoured to be invited to cater this celebration of life in Sutton at the start of August. Over 200 friends and family came together to remember a loved one who wanted the celebration to be fun with good food and live music.
The team at Shaws Catering was delighted to fill the request for good food. Our grills were on site and hard at work preparing a mouth-watering buffet featuring chicken wings and roast pig. Terri Lynn, Carley and Jen paired the grilled meat with some of our most popular and freshly prepared sides.
The live music was delivered from the shade of the porch and the arrival of the ice cream truck added a spontaneous element of fun.
For us, the highlight of the day had to be the carefully created memory tables spread out on the property. The photos and special items on the tables must have brought back many happy memories for family and friends. Guests were able to share those memories while mingling on this gorgeous property. The shade of the mature trees and the tents gave friends and family lots of places to visit.
Events like today remind us of how fortunate we are to have a business that lets us come to our customers. It allows our customers to create a very private and intimate event without sacrificing a fresh, delicious and hot meal. Thank you for including us and our sincere condolences for your loss.
