Our team was glad to be back at another of our favourite venues – Evergreen Acres Farm. Owners Martha and Chris have an impressive commitment to service and events seem to always run smoothly at Evergreen Acres. On this August Saturday, their team turned on a dime to move Sophia and Nathaniel’s wedding inside the barn as rain threatened outside. The all-white decor of the barn’s lower level created an intimate location for the ceremony and a picture-perfect backdrop for a wedding.
After the ceremony, we were delighted that Sophia, Nathaniel and their guests were able to celebrate outside with cocktails and appetizers while our team prepared the BBQ buffet in the upper level of the barn. Beautifully decorated with golds, greens, pinks and natural wood, the reception area was extremely warm and inviting.
For dinner, Sophia and Nathaniel asked us to prepare a custom BBQ buffet of prime rib, maple BBQ chicken breasts, baby potatoes, baby maple glazed carrots, homemade mac & cheese, Caesar salad, and fresh Caprese salad made with in-season tomatoes from Country Produce in Orillia. This buffet, so carefully crafted with many popular choices, was thoroughly enjoyed by the wedding’s 125 guests.
