We always love a lake-side wedding. Cool breezes off the water, gorgeous views and perfect pictures. A lake-side wedding at a the historic Stephen Leacock Home in Orillia certainly delivers everything you want in a lake-side wedding with lovely views over Lake Couchiching. It also provides the additional benefits of well tended gardens, space and arts and craft architecture of the buildings on site.
Shaws Catering was honoured to be a part of this lovely wedding. At the request of the bride and groom, we used a tent to protect the buffet and the guests from the elements. Lucky for us, it simply provided shade on a hot day but we were ready for any weather.
