Have you ever had a street party? They are fabulous. There is something so liberating about blocking your road off from traffic and throwing a party for the neighbours. Kids can run and play freely in the street, parents can cross from neighbour to neighbour while enjoying a beverage or two. It’s fun. Last weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed catering the fantastic start-your-summer-right Coral Co-operative Street Party.
Games were certainly a big part of the agenda and everyone had fun chatting while playing corn hole or watching the kids bounce in the inflatables.
On the menu – slow roasted pork with an assortment of sides. Tom set up the Shaws Catering buffet in one of the driveways and the guests were given quick service, helping themselves from both sides. Tom served the pork from his special station and it has to be one of the nicest presentations for miles!
