Over 150 people enjoyed a meal of roast pork, salads, buns, fresh corn on the cob and cookies as the volunteers at the Bala Branch held their annual DIY Legion Fundraiser.
As most will know, the Royal Canadian Legion is Canada’s largest Veteran support and community service organization. They help Veterans, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP and their families get the care and support they deserve. During the year, the Bala Branch (424) hosts a number of events to raise much needed funds and bring their community together. We were delighted to help out and give them all they required to host this very successful DIY Fundraiser. By roasting the pigs themselves, the Bala team made sure more of the money raised went directly to helping Legion members. Looks like they did a GREAT job on the grill.

Congratulations on a great event everyone!
