As small business owners, we know how important staff are to the success of an organization. So we really enjoy catering events like the Township of Oro-Medonte staff appreciation event held today at the Oro-Medonte Community Centre.
The day provided a perfect opportunity for staff from all departments within the Township to mingle and have a few laughs. The camaraderie of the group was evident and the games organized for the event only seemed to deepen that sense of friendship and mutual respect. The fire department’s version of “tug of war” which may be better described as “push the pail with a fire hose” was simply fantastic.
Our team from Shaws Catering was delighted to add hamburgs and hot dogs hot from our bbq to a selection of sides on our custom buffet. With the ice out for the summer, the arena was a great place to set up the buffet and Oro-Medonte staff enjoyed all the facilities the Community Centre had to offer. The weather could not have been better and we were pleased to be a part of such a successful event. Thanks to the Township for including us.
