The sun was out, the water was calm and the temperature soared to over 27 degrees Celsius, making it a perfect day for friends and families at Brentwood Marine to celebrate their end of season bbq.
Less than an hour’s drive from Toronto, Brentwood Marine is located on the south shore of Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie. The marina gives boaters access to an incredible 744 square kilometres of water on Lake Simcoe and another 386 km along the historic Trent-Severn Waterway. While very close to all the amenities of the city of Barrie, owners Mike and Linda Tanti make sure that the boaters using their 130+ slips enjoy a natural and peaceful waterfront community.
It has been our pleasure to cater this end of season bbq for the past 11 years and it’s an event we look forward to each year. It’s a fantastic way for marina users to get to know one another, celebrate the season, and share boating adventures. This year we were delighted to serve guests a custom bbq buffet featuring a hip-of-beef. Everyone, including the Shaws Catering team, enjoyed the music of Even Steven, a talented duo from the Orillia area. Our thanks to Mike and Linda for including us in this wonderful event.
