We are always happy to cater an event at Glen Oro Farm. With over 200 acres of property in the hills of Oro Medonte, any event at Glen Oro includes an incredible view, well appointed amenities and a relaxed, immersed-in-nature feeling.
On a Sunday in June, we had the pleasure of catering a gathering of family and friends to celebrate a recent baptism. The event was held at the small cabin on the farm which is ideal for smaller groups. Perched on a hill, the guests enjoyed breathtaking views, complete privacy and room to explore. Guests chatted and soaked up the sun on the stone patio and then retreated to the shade and comfort of the tent for the meal.
Guests from as far away as Jamaica, Amsterdam and the southern US thoroughly enjoyed the meal of slow roasted pork and fresh homemade salads prepared by the Shaws Catering team. Serving the meal buffet style allowed guests the opportunity to select exactly what they liked and return as often as they needed to satisfy their appetite. As always, it made for a very happy crowd. Adding to that happiness – a selection of delicious cakes for dessert.
