We considered ourselves fortunate to be included as the Bracebridge Generation Ltd., and the Ontario Waterpower Association celebrated the re-opening of the Wilson Falls and Bracebridge Falls Generating Stations. The upgraded sites are expected to supply the province with renewable, reliable and affordable energy for years to come.
The upgrades to stations also improved the aesthetics of the waterfalls. New viewing platforms have been constructed for the public and the walleye spawning area at the base of the Bracebridge Falls has increased to six times the original size.
The Shaws Catering team provided a fully catered bbq lunch to everyone that attended the celebration.
