Carlos is no stranger to cooking on a bbq. He was raised in Uruguay, South America, where permanent outdoor bbqs are as common as they are here in Ontario. So when Carlos had family from Uruguay visit him in Canada, he knew he needed to bbq something very special. Naturally he called Shaws Catering for a DIY Pig Roast as the solution to some unique Uruguay May two-four fun!

At Shaws Catering, we can set you up with all you need to have a successful pig roast for an intimate party of 10, an event of over 100 guests, and everything in between. Our DIY package includes a pig, an appropriately sized BBQ, charcoal, and detailed instructions on how to roast the pig to perfection. We’ve even got a help-line you can call if you get stuck.
Side salads are also available and most hosts order up to four (4) of our most popular salads to make the event as simple as possible. The best part? You don’t have to clean the BBQ. Yep. Just bring it back dirty and we will give it a thorough cleaning at our sanitation station.
